Assistant Quantity Surveyor

£26 - £30,000 + company car, excellent pension scheme and life assurance

Northampton Mon - Fri 8.15am - 5.00pm

This is a great opportunity to join an established main contractor who is involved with public sector projects building hospitals, medical centres, schools and homes across the Northampton, Milton Keynes, Bedford and Cambridge area. residential sites.

Job Responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in CVR reporting
• Assisting with procurement of contractors and materials and the associated documentation
• Creating cash flow forecasts
• Assisting with signing off valuations and invoices
• Preparing subcontractor payments
• Reviewing design details to identify changes and variations to design
• Tendering

Previous Knowledge & Experience:

• Experience using Microsoft Office, Excel and Word
• Ability to read and understand technical detail drawings
• Experience with construction contract forms (NEC, FIDIC and/or JCT)
• Degree or HNC qualified (Desirable)
