Assistant Site Manager - Industrial and Commercial

£30, 000 - £38,000 PAYE

Peterborough Mon - Fri 7.30 am - 5.30 pm

A golden opportunity that offers great potential for an ambitious and enthusiastic Assistant Site Manager is available, starting mid-January 2022. Joining a Tier One contractor who specialise in delivering Industrial, Logistics and Retail Park projects up to £20 million. Reporting to the Project /Site Manager you must be a confident communicator who is able to liaise with design teams, clients, and sub-contractors to ensure budgets and deadlines are met.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in setting up and managing general site facilities to ensure a secure site, including access and egress adhering to all HSEQ practices
• Assist in ensuring safety to the public, site visitors and staff on site
• Supervise all site-based operatives, overseeing all aspects of their work
• Maintain accurate records for site attendance, site induction, toolbox talks, accidents, weekly site records, site safety inspections, plant register records, LOLER / PUWER / scaffold report records
• Ensuring that as-built drawings CVI's & RFI's are stored accurately on system
• Liaise daily with the site team regarding all planned works/site issues
• Motivating the workforce and building team spirit

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

Relevant site experience and/or HNC / HND / Degree in construction management, SSSTS or SMSTS, CSCS card (management or trainee management level) First Aid
