Project Manager - Small Works Fit Out & Refurbs

Up to £55k plus company car, 34 days holiday and excellent benefits package

Northampton, Bedford, Buckingham area

A great opportunity to join a successful main contractor to manage small works & refurbishment projects on the public sector framework, for jobs up to £2million across Northampton, Beds and Bucks has been created due to the success of teams in other areas.

If you are a confident Project Manager who is confident at being involved in bid developments, pre-construction, design, and materials stage of projects who is instrumental in shaping and defining our client services offering.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITY'S

High-Quality Outputs - delivery of all schemes to a high industry standard. This includes the client experience and the final installed product

Proven in Project Management - unphased by managing large quantities of enquiries and deliveries simultaneously. Doesn't flap under pressure!

Have knowledge of education, industrial and commercial interiors, and alterations

Programme Management - planning of every project to allow a logical and coordinated execution of all programme activities to achieve practical completion dates

Regular Reporting - produced as necessary to communicate; information required, design development, programme progress, project risks, key issues/actions, and forward planning

Supply Chain Management - Liaising with our preferred supply chain to ensure timely and adequate allocation of resources to facilitate project execution

Handover Process - Ensure that all projects are completed in line with the client expectations

Communication skills that are 1st class - be able to appreciate a client's requirements and convert that into a tangible scope of works and present this back to our valued client base

Commercially astute including budget management

Site Safety - Ensuring works are carried out in a manner that is safe for all operatives, visitors, and end-users. This includes mitigating adverse effects and risks to third parties that may be affected by our schemes
