Project /Site Manager - Small Works

Up to £55k PAYE plus company car

Northampton, Bedford, Buckingham area

Monday - Friday 7.30 am -5.00 pm

A great opportunity to join a successful main contractor to manage small works & refurbishment projects on the public sector projects up to £2million across Northampton, Beds and Bucks.

You must have construction site experience as you will be based mainly on-site to manage site teams and sub-contractors between office visits. Ideally, this would suit a Site Manager ready to step up into a Project Manager role. The right candidate must be a good communicator, present well and have a good record of quality. The successful candidate will be required to travel to site and work remotely around this. The role will entail being responsible for the preconstruction phase right through to completion of the project.

An understanding of site safety, programming and planning works is essential along with a commercially astute mind.

If you have worked for a main contractor or a sub-contractor on public sector projects previously this would be a strong advantage.
