Are you an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk? Do you have strong communication skills? Is it a permanent role you're looking for?

We're looking for a seasoned Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a successful a dynamic professional and client focused Groundworks company whose aims and objectives are to deliver contracts safely, on time and within budget whilst also meeting our client's requirements.

About You

You'll have previously worked as a Purchase Ledger Clerk or Accounts Assistant.

You'll have a keen eye for detail and will be able to investigate any anomalies without assistance.

You'll be available to work full time, Monday to Friday working hours will be 7.30am to 5pm Monday to Thursday and an early finish of 4pm Friday.

About The Job

  • You will join as a Purchase Ledger Clerk and work as part of a finance team.
  • You'll be matching, batching, coding, and posting sometimes high volumes of invoices.
  • There will be lots of communication with suppliers by telephone and email.
  • You can work at a fast pace and in a busy environment.

About The Company

My client specialises in all aspects of Groundworks and Civil Engineering particularly; bulk earthworks, foundations, reinforced concrete slabs, water attenuation, land drainage, sewers, road construction, road planning, retaining structures, asphalt surfacing, hard landscaping - comprising of block paving, kerbs, paving slabs, signage & street furniture.

A salary of £21-24k depending on experience.

After 3 months' probation you will be eligible for the company pension scheme.
