We are currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor/Estimator to join a Retail Fit Out and Groundwork's contractor who support the commercial and retail sectors with refurb, maintenance and extension work. You will assist with the preparation of specification tenders for fit-out projects. Specialists in dry lining and plastering supporting retail chains Nationally. This position is a mixture of office and site-based duties. This position is for an l established and growing contractor who would like to recruit a team member who wants to grow with the business.

Overview of duties:

• Working with the Contracts Manager to ensure the successful delivery of the scheme
• Implementing agreed commercial strategies
• Estimating assisting with bids and tenders
• Undertaking tender costing analysis/procurement schedules
• Applications for payment
• Cash flow management / forecasts
• Identifying / pricing / negotiating variations
• Contributing to the maintaining of company accreditation's
• Placement of Sub-Contract Orders
• Sub-Contractor valuations / Payment Notices
• Final Account agreements
• Site visits and Client Management

Requirements:

• A degree in Quantity Surveying or similar
• You must hold a relevant and up to date CSCS card and have proficient Health & Safety knowledge
• Computer literate.
• Strong Commercial awareness
• Experience in Fit-Out is essential with a knowledge of trade packages
